Beach Clean and Rife Clean dates 2026
*Please note that our four clean ups will be held on Sundays. Also, instead of the beach clean in July, we will be doing a Village Centre clean, starting on the Village Green*
Rife clean – Sunday 8 March
Beach cleans – Sunday 17 May, and Sunday 27 September (this one part of Great British Beach Clean)
Village Centre clean – Sunday 12 July (this would be the day after the Ferring Village Fair if it takes place this year and maintains the usual date, but the clean up will still happen even if the fair doesn’t)
All the above – except of course the Village Centre clean – start at 11am from the Bluebird cafe car park (the Rife clean one adjacent to the public toilets). Pickers and bags are provided, but we suggest that suitable clothing (incl gloves) and footwear are worn for the conditions on the day. If the weather may be an issue, please check this website for updates. We do particularly welcome youngsters to help out, but we’d ask that they are accompanied by an adult.
