We’ve got 2 outside activities planned for the month of July:
Firstly, we have the annual clean up/ litter pick of the village centre which will take place on Sunday 13 July, meeting on the Village Green at 11am. We’ll mainly be concentrating on the Green, Glebelands Rec nearby and the surrounding area. Litter pickers, bags and high vis jackets are provided,and we hope to see some of you there.
Then, on the following Thursday 17 July, we’ll be making our annual contribution to the national Big Butterfly Count, where we’ll be recording the number of butterflies seen. This will be at Cissbury Ring and we’ll be meeting by the top car park there at 10am. If anybody needs a lift, please let David know at d.bettiss@btinternet.com. You don’t need to be an expert to take part, and hopefully can learn a bit about identification while there, and also take in the wonderful views from the Ring.
