Weather and ground conditions allowing, we’ll be holding our first two practical sessions in the first week of March as follows:
Thursday 5 March – work party at the Community Orchard in Glebelands recreation ground, off Rife Way (by the tennis courts). Starting at 10am for approx an hour. Tasks will be to plant 2 replacement apple trees and some light maintenance work on and around the exisiting ones.
Sunday 8 March – Rife Clean. Meeting by the public toilets near the Bluebird cafe at 11am. This will end at the road bridge into the Ferring Country Centre at approx Midday. It is suggested that wellies or waterproof footwear are worn.. Pickers, bags and high vis jackets are provided.
Any help for either of the above events will be gratefully received, and please keep an eye on the website for any changes to the arrangements, especially if weather conditions on the day might be an issue.
